KidsCreate: Ceramic Musical Maraca
Saturday, April 7, 2-4 PM
Artist (and songwriter) Heidi Bekebrede will show how to make musical maraca in clay. Using hand-building techniques and underglazes, children will create an instrument to be fired. Heidi will also demonstrate other instruments.
Cost is $7 members ($9 nonmembers). Ages 4 and up.
An RSVP by Apr. 5 is necessary.
Panel Discussion: Art Faculty Exhibit
February 7, 5-6:30 PM
Faculty members from the art department will consider art training (past and present), the changing role of the artist, and thier own pivotal influences, in this panel discussion. FREE. No RSVP needed, but space is limited. Professors Robin Hill, Gina Werfel, Matthias Geiger, and Dave Hollowell, will participate.
