Statement: “Another Bite” is an assemblage of old and discarded Apple computers programmed to pray. A monolithic column on wheels, 3 feet wide and 9 feet tall, a tower of screens displaying a familiar holy image that changes constantly with hundreds of creative variations. Solemn yet playful; pop culture greets the sacred. This is a digital prayer. Ten computers softly chant together. Their hard drives have become prayer wheels. Their fans exhale a faint scent of roses. They have transitioned from thinking machines to praying machines as they exist, a while yet, in a bardo, praying for equality and wisdom.
