Melissa Woodburn creates evocative vessels in clay and woven pine needles, with surfaces that undulate with movement. Equally impressive are her mixed-media installations that blend fabric, clay, and embroidery, into thoughtful expressions about heritage, memory, and women's work.
Pine Needle Basketry Workshop: Oct. 11, noon - 2 PM
In this hands-on workshop, attendees will learn how to weave pine, needles into a simple basket shape, based on Woodburn's own work on display.
Ages 10 to adult are welcome.
The cost includes instruction and materials:
